Hall Center For The Humanities

Grant Development Services

The Humanities Grant Development Office stimulates external grant and fellowship activities and enhances the quality of applications by KU humanities scholars.

Services to Students

Although staffing will not allow us to offer graduate students the full range of services provided to KU humanities faculty, we are committed to assisting KU humanities graduate students to develop their knowledge and skills to successfully compete in the grants and fellowships arena.

We provide annual humanities graduate student workshops focused on both searching and proposal development and make targeted presentations to specific groups upon request. By appointment, we also offer one-on-one instruction on how to conduct funding opportunities searches.

Our Guide to Proposal Development outlines the steps involved in developing, refining, and submitting competitive grant and fellowship proposals for graduate students in the humanities and related fields.

Check out our links to funding information for graduate students in the Grant Development Links section.
