Affiliates
Three University of Kansas National Resource Centers and three University Study Centers are affiliated with the Hall Center. The alliance between the Hall Center and the Study Centers increases the visibility and strengthens the voice of the humanities both within and outside of the University. The affiliated centers are:
Center for East Asian Studies
The Center for East Asian Studies (CEAS), a Title VI funded National Resource Center, was founded in 1959 at the University of Kansas and today remains the only resource center devoted to East Asian studies in the entire Great Plains region.
Center for Russian, East European & Eurasian Studies
The Center for Russian and East European Studies (CREES) at the University of Kansas is one of only 13 Title VI Comprehensive National Resource Centers for the Russian and East/Central European area supported by the US Department of Education. It has been serving the Great Plains region since 1965.
Center of Latin American Studies
Established in 1959, the Center of Latin American Studies (CLAS) actively promotes Latin American research, study and travel.
Kansas African Studies Center
The Kansas African Studies Center, a Title VI Comprehensive National Resource Center at the University of Kansas, represents the African Studies Council of more than thirty Africanists across the University of Kansas.
Center for European Studies
The Center for European Studies at the University of Kansas focuses on western European scholarship and research.
Center for Indigenous Nations Studies
Founded in 1997, the Center for Indigenous Nations Studies is a graduate program offering a master's degree of cross-disciplinary studies in order to understand the complexities of indigenous peoples in the Americas.

Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture
Through its courses of study, public seminars, publications, conferences, and civic involvement, The Dallas Institute brings thought, imagination, language and sensibility to bear on the convergence between the visible shaping of the world and the permanent values necessary for the crafting of culture.

National Humanities Alliance
Founded in 1981, the National Humanities Alliance is a non-profit organization to advance national humanites policy in the areas of research, education and public programs. The Hall Center is an Associate Member of the NHA.
Plains Humanities Alliance
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is the host institution for the Plains Humanities Alliance, which is an NEH Regional Humanities Center. The Hall Center for the Humanities is an Affiliate Partner of the Humanities Alliance, its role to provide leadership in the area of the intersection with international area studies.
